About the Role
We are building a premium alcohol distribution company importing European brands into Nigeria. As our first non-marketing hire, you will build the foundations of our people operations and ensure we remain fully compliant in a highly regulated industry.
You will design processes, manage critical government relationships, and help shape our culture from day one.
Key Responsibilities
People (HR)
· Manage full-cycle recruiting: job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, reference checks, offers
· Run onboarding for all new hires (paperwork, accounts, equipment, first-week plan)
· Maintain employee records (physical and digital) in compliance with Nigerian labor law
· Track leave, attendance, and payroll inputs (finance runs payroll; you provide data)
· Draft employment contracts, offer letters, and policy acknowledgements
· Implement basic HR policies (code of conduct, leave policy, expense policy)
· Set up performance review process (probation, quarterly, annual)
· Organize team meetings, off-sites, and recognition programs
Legal & Compliance
· Manage all alcohol distribution licenses (CAC, NAFDAC, SONCAP, state liquor licenses)
· Maintain compliance calendar with all renewal deadlines (licenses, insurance, tax filings)
· Liaise with LGAs for liquor license applications and renewals (Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt)
· Work with external lawyers on major contracts (distribution agreements, supplier contracts, leases)
· Draft standard agreements: NDAs, trade customer terms, simple supplier letters
· Ensure trade customer license verification is performed before each first order
· Monitor NAFDAC and SON regulatory updates; alert MD to changes affecting business
· Maintain organized digital files for all compliance documents (audit ready)
· Track insurance policies (goods in transit, liability, asset)
· Document and report any compliance incidents (e.g., sale to unlicensed customer)
· Support MD in any regulatory inspections or inquiries
Qualifications
· 3+ years experience in HR, compliance, legal support, or administration (any combination)
· Strong understanding of Nigerian labor law basics (or willingness to learn quickly)
· Experience managing government or regulatory relationships
· Highly organized with ability to track multiple deadlines and documents
· Proficient with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (especially Sheets/Excel)
· Excellent written and spoken English
· High integrity and ability to handle confidential information

We are looking for a talented Graphics Designer to create compelling visual assets that make our brands stand out whether on social media, in trade presentations, or on packaging. You will work closely with our Content & Social Media Executive to tell the Stanley & Gray story to global distilleries, luxury venues, and discerning consumers.
What You’ll Do:
· Develop and maintain our visual identity across digital and print platforms
– Design engaging social media graphics, pitch decks, and sales collateral
– Create high-quality materials for events and brand launches
– Partner with our Content Manager on photoshoots and video production
What We Need:
· 2–4 years professional graphic design experience (portfolio required)
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Affinity Suite
· Experience with Canva for rapid content creation
· Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
· Ability to work from brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency
· Experience designing for both print and digital media
· Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
